The CubeSmart on Long Beach and Artesia is pure garbage I was burglarized twice and on the second time the manager Yolanda asked me that I want to change units that should have happened on the first time but she told me that they didn't have available unit in 10 by15 so I only got broken into again this time it took everything stuff that can't be replaced and they don't really care

Our storage unit was broken into just before our rental term ended. Beyond the financial loss, the experience left us feeling violated and deeply disappointed.What concerns me most is that we were never informed of the frequency of thefts at this facility. Had we been made aware of the ongoing security issues, we could have taken additional precautions or chosen a different facility altogether.I was also surprised to learn that the security cameras appear to be positioned primarily toward vehicle traffic rather than the storage unit aisles themselves, where criminal activity is more likely to occur. When we reported the theft, the staff's casual response gave the impression that these incidents are not uncommon.After the break-in, we no longer felt comfortable storing our remaining belongings at the facility. I requested a few additional days at no charge so we could safely relocate our property elsewhere. That request was denied, and we were advised that failure to continue paying rent could negatively impact our credit. Given the circumstances, I found this response disappointing and lacking empathy for customers who have already suffered a significant loss.While I understand that no storage facility can guarantee complete security, I expected greater transparency regarding known security concerns, more effective surveillance measures, and a more compassionate response after becoming the victim of a crime. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of those expectations.

My unit was broken in to, and they did nothing to help. I had to be the one to ask them questions of whats gonna happen, what i need to do, etc. The girl that opened my storage unit for me(since they had to change the lock when it got broken into) wasnt even apologetic or anything. No customer service whatsoever. When i went to their office, another employee said that a police report was already done, but the girl that assisted me said i still had to file one. So whi one am i suppose to believe. Seemed like nobody knew exactly what was happening. Besides that fact, every storage unit in the row that mine was in ALL HAD NEW LOCK PANELS. Which made me come to the conclusion that theyve all been broken into before. Some units even had to make new holes to place the new lock because of the damage. And mind you, the row that my unit was in was nowhere near camera view...how ironic is that. Regadless, i will never get a units from this company again, nor will i ever recommend to anyone.
