The facility is great and Wanda and her team’s attitude and professionalism are outstanding!

I don't like the deceptive pricing model... initial low rate, then large increases every few months once we're in. Also, don't like the fine print on quotes... must buy insurance, locks for additional costs not initially disclosed. Prefer to do business with companies with straight forward, honest practices... no gimmicks.That's why we left.

Wanda and Paul have always been really helpful and accommodating

I was harassed about late payment fees and storage fees two weeks after I called to confirm I had moved out of the unit. I emptied it completely, left the provided lock in the unit with the door open as requested. I don’t know why they didn’t close it out then, or the first time I called to request the lease be terminated.

Wanda made everything super easy!

We expected to show up to speak with management on site, obtain a unit, and empty our vehicle. Instead we found no one on site - had to speak to multiple people online and on the phone. When we finally got the rental handled, it came without an access code, so we had to wait longer while someone else online looked up our new rental to give it to us. It wasted at least 2 hours of our work day. They kept saying, "You can ask the manager on site." So we kept having to remind them we were speaking online to them because no one was on site working during business hours! Then we had to try to navigate to the unit using the map ourselves which took longer. It was a complete disruption of our day. None of us have ever used CubeSmart before and none of us have ever had the experience of no staff members, difficulty renting, hoops to jump through, etc. We are always signed up and in within a very short time. If we had not already had our car loaded, we would have immediately left.

One the security is not good, I lost $5000 worth of items, including an almost $900 African Drum I had for years, and got NOTHING back from your insurance you promote. My wife lost a Sega Genesis Sonic the Hedgehog Eddition, in like new condition, she got back in fourth grade, it worked and it was worth about $800 thanks to interest in the old systems. Then the unit price, I am now paying almost 55% LESS for the same size climate controlled unit first floor and much closer with Barrel Locks which offer more security than the standard locks. I would only tell people to use your storage at their own risk and only store that which is not precious or valuable.
