My unit was broke in and my things were stolen, no one from cube smart notified me I had to find out months later when I went to check on my stuff

My storage was broken into and some of my stuff were stolenI was charged for this month $122 when I had already moved out of the storage on 23rd.Prior to my moving I went to the office to let the manager know I was moving so I don't get charged and he assured me that all of needed to do is to leave the storage open without the locks on and he will get me out of the system which he never did now am having to request a refund that by yesterday I was told they are not sure I will be refunded since it was already charged.I work hard for my money am sure u could not give me a mont free of storage so I need my refund.

Could quality and customer service.

When we arrived to move in, our unit had trash inside and no locks. We purchased four padlocks ourselves and placed two on each door. The next night, we returned to find that all of our locks had been cut, our boxes were sliced open, our couch was flipped, and our belongings were thrown around the unit. The cut padlocks were left inside. Several other units on our row also had cut locks on the ground, and some doors were left open.We came in this morning to cancel our service after this horrible experience, only 48 hours after renting the unit. Although the employee at the counter helped process the cancellation, he showed no concern that our unit had been burglarized or that other units were affected.This facility is not properly secured, there is no after-hours contact number, and the front desk staff did not seem to care about the situation. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing and unsafe experience.

When we booked and moved into the Coit Rd, Dallas, TX facility, we did not notice there are NO security cameras, however we were convinced of adequate security due to the on-site manager. We were never notified that manager left, nor that there was a string of short-lived replacements, leaving the facility with little to no constant supervision. This apparently created the perfect environment for rampant theft. When our unit was burglarized--along with 29 other units--we were notified, but subsequently discovered we were never made aware of multiple breakings of the facility. The poor response by "management" -- temporary employees pulled from various other facilities in the region -- as well as their "it's not my fault/not my problem" attitude made it clear this location is NOT secure and the reason we vacated our unit for a different company altogether.

Communicating with the office was difficult. The police were at the property frequently and when I moved out and told them I had vacated they kept charging me.

Poor security and terrible communication.

We’ve needed storage for our jet ski and the price was right.
