Everything I already said in my review and in the email I sent to Cubesmart. Non-secure entry,; wide open access, climate control not functioning; assigned unit full of homeless persons belongings and therefore not cleaned out, prepped, ready, or containing a welcome kit with a lock that was already paid for. In fact, nobody had done anything at all to prepare my unit for check-in. Nothing promised was done and nothing was as it was represented. All around poor experience, with the exception that they did promptly refund the full amount that I had paid, and I thought that that was going to be a struggle, so whatever the reason was for the poor service they surprised me by making it right for me in the only way that I said would be acceptable.

The place is a joke people living in units filthy all around waited 4 days on a unit I already rented to be told someone’s things are in there still the manager I believe her name is Sarah is super cool nice lady she should go to a better company/location

When I moved items in, the lock did not work. The office hours online were inaccurate, and phone calls have not been returned.

1. Office Unavailable: After my online payment, I called the office at 515-207-7435 at total of 10 times and noone answered on 4/10 and 4/11/26.2. Boxes and Need Refund for Boxes: I had to call the 1-800 number to send a message to the manager who never met nor called nor emailed so that we can pick up the boxes during a time which she agreed upon. I haven't received a refund for the boxes which I paid for.3. Delayed Move on Saturday, 4/11/26 due to inability to pick up Boxes and when I phoned multiple times on the day NOONE answered the phoned.4. Unprofessional for a Repeat Customer:I have a unit in Houston TX. This experience is 180 degrees and extremely unprofessional than my experience in Houston. I won't repeat my business again.

It wasn't perfect but there was not a trolley or tools to use to take things to the second floor so heavy things had to be carried. The access doors were either broken or didn't work.
