Only 3 months after I moved in, my rent was raised about 30 % which I understand is what the whole world is doing raising the cost of living for everyone these days, but I simply cannot afford to pay this much more under short notice, so I found another place to rent. The unit I was in was in good condition however the main gate that provides the first level of security for all units in the 804 Polaski hwy location was open and anyone could enter anytime they wanted to try and access the individual units. A real security issue. When I requested a refund for the portion of the month (about 9 days) I was not going to be using they're unit I was told they don't prorate. So my loss, my bad for not reading the fine print in the contract. Just a bad policy for people that only need storage for a short time. I hope they will reconsider that someday in the future. Ultimately, rent increases are normal. Large increases kick people out.
