The storage unit and facility is clean and I found the manager on duty to be knowledgeable and provide good service.However the practice of the storage industry I find insulting and disturbing. You reward new customers and punish long-term renters with unfair increases every few months. Charge a reasonable price at the start and leave it. At time of moving out this week I was charged $300 month, nearly doubling my move in price. I moved to a facility closer to my house that I moved out of years ago to move into CUBESMART for the same reason. My new monthly charge is just over $130 per month. Even with increases I expect to save $1,500 dollars this year in storage cost. Fix this BS system and you will have long-term renters for years and years. From the follow up questions on this survey, the company knows this is a major issue, but obviously chooses not to fix it.

Rate for storage was too expensive!Rates for the storage unit with no electricity or heat at over $400. I had mice get in my unit and ruin some items. So they had to be discarded..

Rented cube smart for 2 years in enfield CT, i used it to store my business items, horrible location. Gate is always open majority of the time. it always has issues so it’s open all the time free to the public, I left these units I had there due to the harassment from the new worker they have at the location and poor snow clean up, I have pictures of how much snow on the roof that can potentially hurt tenets. To add I wanted to expand more of my inventory to my unit and wanted a double unit as I had seen they accommodate for another business (Hartford current) i inquired for the same set up and customer service stated they did not want to do one for me. And last the rate increase is horrible and the reason why no one with stay long term

Because you guys are are a giant leech. You raise your prices way too often, and I noticed that you raise them in Jan, when no one wants to move things. I would never recommend you to anyone unless I hated that person. You suck your clients dry and you don’t deserve to be in business. Your cares are about profits only. 🖕🏼
