We rented a unit and came by to see the unit before moving in. First thing we noticed that it was not climate controlled as advertised. It was warm and very humid. We luckily ran into a couple who were needing to move their things out of their units due to a mice infestation. We were able to cancel our reservation without penalty. Glad we visited the space before moving in.

No issues. Check in was easy. I had my own lock so the representative was able to refund me. Moved in and moved out with no problems.

The access garage door was broken when I moved so I had to use the back entrance without any elevators. The website said first floor access but the back entrance required me moving the boxes up the loading dock manually because there were no ramps. The hallway to my unit was also blocked and I asked the CubeSmart guy to come resolve the issue but he never came.

Employee told me I'm not qualified for deal because there is someone else with my name (and he couldn't tell that I had already reserve and paid for a unit two days prior to me coming) so I walked out then they call and tell me about the unit and how someone has items in it? And that they need to charge me for cleaning. They didn't and closed the account and were understanding talking about it. That said this whole situation could have been avoided if they were attentive. I went to Extra Storage and am much happier with customer service there
