Local Mgr told me the rate was "month-to-month" meaning the rate could change based on "market demand". However, he said he would talk to Mgt if the rate increase was exorbitant. Five mos late CubeSmart jacked the rate up 36%. Mgr delayed the rate increase by 30 days but did nothing on the 36% monthly rate increase. I decided to vacate the unit ASAP and vacated 12 days before my next billing cycle. I expected a prorated bill for the current cycle. Instead, they charged me for the full cycle even though I had no access to the unit at this point! I know this is a Sarbanes Oxley "revenue recognition" issue that the BBB will be interested to know. I will stay away from doing any business with CubeSmart. They acted like "shysters" to me and I no longer trusted them to put their customers first..,unfortunately!

there are a few things that could be worked on to be better. Might be overnight access. I was stuck outside in the middle of the night with my storage being opened on the inside. I had to wait until 6 AM for it to open up again. worst experience!!!
