I avoid making reccomendations

First, when i decided to use your company i was NEVER told that by the 2nd month you would not only be raising the price but by an unreasonable amount of 100 dollars as well! Had you, i would certainly have gone elsewhere! Then in the 3 months there i noticed the floors are disgusting, no one EVER runs a mop down the hallways, they black and disgusting with dirt and debris; no one ever sweeps either! Then i noticed the bathroom, which never had a paper towel, hand dryer or even soap. I also noticed tht you ONLY supply 3 carts to be used for every tenant in the building and all 3 carts are beat up and need maintenance. The maintenance is simple too, some new wheels and maybe repainted. The fact that the cost is so little shows how truly cheap this company is and how much you dont care. The worst thing was the lights, which shut off every 15 minutes, so when i would be in the back of my unit, 25 feet in, it would become pitch black and i had to make my way back out and to tye front, just to get lights to kick back on because your too cheap to put motion sensors down the hallways. All these issues show how you ONLY care about making money and not running a better facility. So is it any surprise that people leave after 3 months?!! I spoke to several people, such as the tenant across from my unit. He has been with you 4 yrs and while he agrees on all the points i made, he only stays with you because its across the street from where he lives. Anyone else was talking about leaving! So as a result of your crooked practices i had to spend 3 grueling days moving all items out of my 10x25 unit and into another storage facility. I WAS going to rent a 2nd unit and even a 3rd until i saw the only 2 you had available were in the 1st building...thats another cheap thing Cubesmart does....the 1st building is outside the security gate, meaning ANYONE can just drive up and enter the building. Sure, they wont have a code to open doors but your doors are so beat up and in need of maintenance, they close, leaving a 2 inch gap. I slid my entire hand between the 2 doors and if i apply slight pressure, the doors force open, so no one even needs a code! You need to clean that dump up, its run poorly, not that you all care because your just about the money and nothing else. I have a unit at ExtraSpace and a unit at Public Storage. Both of those places run 10x better than you!!! And word of mouth is an invaluable tool in business...i will tell anyone that asks, avoid Cubesmart, they over charge, they raise rent immediately upon using them, they care NOTHING about their customers and they fix NOTHING! I have now used 6 different storage businesses and you are the worst hands down!!
