Ease of rental and price

The staff and customer service were great from day 1. They were always helpful and available. Zero complaints about the staff. The cubesmart app, also great, user friendly, and never had issues with it. The storage units, however, are rat infested, and despite the staff's efforts to combat the infestation, it was just not enough. I lost and had to throw away a good portion of my personal belongings due to rat urine, poop, gnawing, and exposure to dead rats. I had to throw away my mattresses and box springs (3 sets) despite being properly packaged, they still were damaged by the rats. And it's unfortunate that the storage company has no insurance or any protection of the sort for instances such as this. I am aware that the staff did the best they could, however, I think they could've reached out to the company for support on the matter and maybe could have hired professionals on rat infestations. And for that reason, is why I would not recommend Cubesmart to anyone.

The prices are reasonable, security is good, easy access in and out of the property, and there is a variety of options to choose from.

The only reason that unit didn't get a 10 is because of their frequency of price. But overall customer service was great.

This was my first experience using storage. The only thing that I would suggest is that they spray and clean more often. There was always spiders, bugs and mouse droppings around. I came over and sprayed my unit.

Rent keeps going up with no incentive or added services. Pest control needs better results. We had rodents going through our stuff the whole time. Also, one of the renters on either side of us kept throwing empty beer cans in our unit through a gap at the top of the sheet metal. Not the company’s fault but it’s just something annoying we had to deal with.

You unnecessarily increased the price every 3-4 months. Your costs couldn’t have gone up that much that quickly. You were just taking advantage of people that needed the storage space and had few if any other options. When i ask the office staff about it frequent price hikes they just said “that’s the storage building game”. What a pathetic excuse for customer service. I will never recommend Cube Smart to anyone.
