My rating is based on my experience here at this location. I reversed the unit back in Jun 2023. The rental rate is what caught me. Amanda was the main person I'd interacted with and was always friendly and attentive. They've worked with me for having late rent. I appreciated that sincerely. Now, I know people were living there and that wasn't an issue for me, it was garbage there I'd see and it always looked like the elevators were never vacuumed. It was not clean. The rent increased from $102 to $160 something in 2.5 years. You'd call and 2 out 7 chances someone would pick up. Not to mention no longer having access after 6pm and closed on Sundays. Major inconvenience for those who work Mon-Fri.

From the beginning the staff was very friendly and helpful. I was able to get a good price on the units I rented and they were able to fit everything with some room to spare.

Your facility was absolutely filthy and there were individuals sleeping in their units. Homeless people hanging around. Garbage outside of the building. I moved out and you should have given my money back for the inconvenience. The day I moved in, i had had to move my beloingings without a cart. There was food on the floor by the elevator. The facility was horrible. Smelled like stinky feet! Deplorable conditions!

Very decent and welcoming

For such a large facility, it's a shame that there are no carts available when needed. It feels like there are ONLY 2 carts for the whole facility. I had to haul all my stuff without my cart yesterday, and that switched me off completely towards this business.As a corporation, the least you can do is ensure that clients gets the best experience loading and unloading stuff. Tia was very polite and helpful at the Somerset location, but it looks like she had no control over the cart situation. You need to do better.

I don’t think this is an overall rating for Cubesmart but the Somerset St. location in Somerset, NJ. is horrible. Very unkept, unsafe, inaccessible, and unprofessional. So for the representation I’ve encountered as a customer I have to give a 0

The staffs are very professional and respectful

Good prices, but the hours are terrible and the parking for loading is very inconvenient.
