Never any issues - friendly staff

The moving process itself can be stressful especially an out of state move. I chose cubesmart the company because I’ve used them in the past without issues. However my experience at the location on Patriot Hwy in Fredericksburg VA was not a pleasant one for me and my family. The property manager was not a pleasant person to work with after moving into the unit. I stored my bank information for payment and this location attempted to take $50 from my bank account and my unit wasn’t even $50, and when I brought the matter to the attention of the property manager she deflected and even stated that it couldn’t have been their location when the transaction has the store number attached to it. I also manually made my next months storage payment and they tried to take an additional payment from my bank account after I had already made the manual payment through the payment portal which brought my balance due to $0. I don’t like to do business with anyone who is dishonest and lack integrity. I chose to find me another facility to store my items in until I move into my home. The trust was lost with the lack of accountability so I most definitely did not feel comfortable continuing to store my items at this location.

The price increase that took place without being told and also the amount

Because I paid for a full month but moved out within two weeks said I was getting any money back I didn't think that was fair

Clean and neat, easily accessible- but way too expensive over time as rates increase.
