The employees are unprofessional and customer service is lacking at my location (the one person I spoke with at the customer service line was great). The attendants were quite rude during the one interaction I had with them, and no one ever contacted me when I was moving out despite the two emails I sent and the two voicemails I left trying to confirm so I wouldn't be charged again. I had to call the main CS line to learn that someone had indeed received those communications and had noted my move-out date. Later that day, they left me a voicemail saying my unit still had the lock on and they couldn't vacate it, but it wasn't even my unit and they never followed up after I left another voicemail asking them to check the unit number. I moved to the Lock Up because it's closer and cheaper but their excellent customer service made me appreciate just how ridiculous the Cube Smart experience was, especially for the price I was paying; the Lock Up doesn't even offer a student discount and it's still cheaper.

The self storage unit in the climate controlled buildings was always very clean ad correct.They check regularly and even let me know when I improperly closed my unit but didn't lock it securely.I felt that the amount that was increased on a 6-month pattern was onerous. The last jump from $399 to $460 was TOO MUCH. CubeSmart is taking advantage of it's long-term clients.

I did notice some rodent activity in some of my things before I moved out.

Online experience was efficient, staff was very friendly and the unit is clean. Only issue has been the lock was difficult so we had to get something from Ace Hardware.

The manager of the location I rent from has about as much appreciation for a customer as a broken toilet seat!!! I’m being kind. The assistant manager Fred is amazing!!!!! But. He’s not there all the time. I have rented a unit to store my vehicle ( winter months) for several years at this location. I dread having to deal with the manager!!
