Signing up and communication with the facility was super easy. The local team called to verify information and get renters insurance stup. The directions for accessing the facility and gate code were straightforward and I was able to move in after hours when the office had closed for the day. The facility is in a great location where I felt my belongings were safe. Thanks again and look at utilizing your facility in the future again.

Just 2 months after contracting with CubeSmart, the rent increased $80. The email stated it was due to improvements. Maybe stating what was being improved to warrant a large increase in the rent.

I clearly communicated to the phone representative that assisted with my account opening and later the same day to the manager of the Halifax, MA location that my need for storage was only going to be one month. Both contacts understood I was a first time CubeSmart customer and verbally acknowledged my request/need but offered no additional guidance or direction to take steps later to close the account. I moved my property out of the Halifax, MA location and the following month I received a Protection Plan charge for $16 prompting a request to close the account and reverse the charge. I was told the reversal could not be processed. The bottom line is I was led to believe through the acknowledgement of both CubeSmart contacts that my 1-month rental was not established as an open-ended account. This problem was caused either by poor customer service by omitting important information or, worse than that, a predatory tactic. Either way, I'm not comfortable recommending CubeSmart to friends or family and risk losing their trust.
