My son's belongings were stolen out of his storage unit. The metal sliding clip onto which the lock was affixed was cut, and the lock was replaced with one that looked similar. He successfully filed an insurance claim, but it was still a violation, especially during a difficult time in his life. He lost musical instruments as well as meaningful childhood memories. I found the Cube Smart employee's response to be very disappointing; she said, "Why would someone cut the unit open, steal from it, and then close it and lock it again?" She said this to explain away the situation we were in as we arrived to try to access his unit and were unable (our key did not fit into the lock!). All in all, a frustrating and disheartening experience that hurt us, for no good reason.

I had two storages there You kept raising the rates on one of them every time it was legally possible instead of contacting me and working something out with me Now you have two storages empty which will be empty for a little bit and you'll have to And you'll have to give a discount to somebody to rent them. So in the long run you lost out more than I did. I just moved elsewhere. I used to own apartments and I realized something when you have a good tenant that pays on time you try to please them not continually raise their rates every chance you can get You lost that on this end.

My storage got broken into multiple times, in the controlled climate area that also uses a code to secure. Customer service is nice but I would not refer due to the security.

The facility was dirty. Our locker was broken into along with others, and we received the base amount of information. The gates were broken for over a month. Trying to get someone on the phone was impossible, so i had to physically go there to communicate anything. billing issues over the course of our time there, too. Along with all this, our rate went up 2 or 3 times over the course of the last year, and we saw no benefit from the cost. Other storage places around here were much less, so we left.

I didn't like all the price increases on the rental.
