The person most frequently working at the location was consistently unhelpful and may have provided inaccurate or false information. After Cube Smart took over operations of an Extra Space storage the security doors to each bay were no longer secured via a code lock. I asked the man that most frequently staffs the location about the doors over the course of 6-8 months. I was told that the parts were being ordered, repair was in progress, etc. I highly doubt that any repair is in progress. I expressed my concern that the lack of secure bay doors posed a safety concern for me when I was at my unit and for my belongings. Additionally, I expressed my concern that the fee for my unit included the secure bay door feature that was no longer available but I had not received a refund for the missing service. The staff person treated me in a hostile and dismissive manner. When I talked to the person on 3/10/2026 at 2pm to close out my lease, he assured me that the task would be completed that afternoon. It was not completed. On 3/11/2026 the person reported that the system went down on 3/10/2026. I suspect the staff person forgot to process my request and failed to honestly take responsibility for their error. I hope I am wrong and that the system in question was down. I moved my items to an Extra Space location with better customer service and safety features.

There is NEVER any onsite support. I called 9-10 times over two days after my reservation to get the number unit I wanted it’s been a week and no one has called me back. I spoke with the manager and district manager and they all have an excuse that it’s a big propert. That doesn’t justify not calling a new client back in over a week. I’m headed there now to cancel the unit and get a refund and take my business to the storage facaiality located next to this place

My storage unit flooded and I was provided with the incorrect insurance details for CubeSmart. The manager David did not make the experience any better. He lacked sympathy for the situation and did not exhibit great customer service skills throughout our time there. The main doors were not secure. Anyone could come and open the door to the main unit.

You are very affordable, moving was stressful, but I was able to comfortably and easily store my belongings in a clean environment. The best part was the climate control rooms.

You should clarify a lot of things upfront, as they advertise services making you believe one thing and then you are at their mercy, so they change the roles as you go. I didn’t like it, I preferred transparency so I can budget for it. When I reserved a space, they clearly told me that my rent starts on that particular date when I move my stuff there. Apparently I was shocked to know that they billed me for three weeks I didn’t use their storage. You should also know that they don’t prorate, even after moving out in less than a week after billing. So basically they made me pay for almost two months that I didn’t use. When I called to ask, I was literally bullied by some very nasty man who didn’t bother to explain so he just yelled and hung up on me. It didn’t feel good, but it’s understandable that he doesn’t have an answer. I would look for another solution next time.
