As both a business owner and shareholder, I am extremely disappointed with Cubic Smart. Management keeps pushing aggressive rent increases onto customers while the share price continues to underperform. It feels like they're squeezing loyal customers without delivering meaningful value to investors. The company appears focused on short-term revenue at the expense of customer goodwill and long-term growth. As someone affected on both sides, I have little confidence in the current leadership and believe management needs to do a much better job of balancing customer relationships with shareholder returns.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience as a customer of CubeSmart. What makes this situation particularly frustrating is that I am not only a customer, but also a shareholder in the company. As an investor, I expect management to focus on long-term customer retention and sustainable revenue growth. Unfortunately, my recent experience suggests the opposite. In less than one year of renting a unit, my monthly rental rate increased by approximately 20%. As a small business owner already dealing with rising operating expenses, including fuel and transportation costs, I reached out to local management and respectfully requested assistance or a rate adjustment. Despite my efforts, no one was willing to work with me or offer any meaningful solution. What makes this even more concerning is that the facility does not appear to be operating at full capacity, and there are numerous competing storage providers within a few miles. After comparing alternatives, I found an equivalent 10' x 15' storage unit for only $99 per month, compared to the nearly $300 per month CubeSmart was charging me. From a business perspective, this pricing disparity is difficult to justify. In my opinion, retaining loyal customers through reasonable rate stability would create stronger long-term revenue and occupancy levels than imposing aggressive rent increases that drive customers to competitors. Losing a customer paying rent every month seems far less desirable than maintaining occupancy and customer goodwill. As a result of this experience, I have decided to move my business elsewhere, and I am seriously reconsidering my investment in the company. I also intend to share my experience with corporate leadership because I believe these types of practices contribute to customer dissatisfaction and may ultimately impact shareholder value.I hope CubeSmart takes a closer look at how rate increases are being implemented and how customer concerns are being handled. There is a significant difference between maximizing short-term revenue and building long-term customer loyalty.Sincerely,David WielosinskiCustomer and Shareholder

You jumped up the price too high on the unit after like 3 months. Had you left it alone, I would have left my stuff but the company is greedy so I went to gather my belongings b/c the price was too much. You made almost 1K off me leaving my stuff in there. It's too much money. More than the belongings are even worth.

I had a great experience with this storage unit. Gail helped me with any questions I had along the way. Only critique I would have is my rent going up and I was never notified of it.
