This unit experience was great. To be fair, your staff there terrific. But i have had 5 units there. You did the bait and switch on one and about doubled the cost of one in less than 3 months without disclosure on the front end. Bait and switch. That simple corporate storage approach, even though i could move all my stuff to the same size unit at a lower cost,.

The local staff were polite and helpful but couldn’t address our concerns — broken cooling system for weeks damaging our bedstead,; annual cost that started at $200 annually and went up yearly to over $500.

First, my wife made a reservation and was told she had to check in at the office. Unfortunately, the office was closed when we got there at about 4:00 on a Friday. In fact, she did NOT have to go to the office. Then, I made an "immediate" reservation because hers would not work. I was assigned a storage space that was supposedly 10x10. In fact, it was 10' on two sides, but it was L-shaped so there is NO WAY it was 100sq ft. I was charged $94.69 for that. Since I needed a full 10x10 AND climate-controlled (my mistake the first reservation), I ended up speaking to someone who moved it to the climate-controlled space and charged me $117.60. Unfortunately, they never refunded the original charge. So, now I'm going to have to call again to get that fixed. At this point, I would steer people away from CubeSmart if there were any other options.
