After the price goes up about 3X, in order to get the price down to normal markets rates, I had to move to another unit. I I offered to pay more than the new initial rate just so I did not have to move, and could not even get anybody in power to discuss. Cubesmart's policies made me chose a lose-lose situation. Cubesmart got lots less money for monthly rent, and I had to pay movers. Then, after 2 rent raises in the new cube in less than a year, it felt extortion,. I am sure you are able to get unreasonable rates with those who can't easily move to other cubes, or those that don't notice.
