I am used to jumps in rent on my storage units, I know this is a thing. But in the few years I've had my Cubesmart unit the increases I experienced were the largest by far, compared to other companies. A $50/month increase? My rent ended up more than doubling over a few years! AND whenever I went to fetch my things everything was covered in a THICK layer of dust and dirt! This hasn't happened at my East Charleston unit OR my Decatur unit, both of which are cheaper and climate controlled. And my Cubesmart unit was always to hottest during the summer, out of all 3 locations. It is clear that for the money this Cubesmart location is predatory towards it's renters. I initially accepted the high rent due to location, but if you can't cool the place or keep the outside out of my unit, then you have no right raising rents at all. Poor service.

Cubesmart Maryland location NV illegally closed my empty but fully paid storage w/o asking my permission. My son, also has a cubesmart storage but is NOT on my acct. He illegally closed my storage & Cubesmart closed it, w/o even consulting me. It was solely my account.I became disabled and wheelchair bound in 2025. I was preparing to put some stuff in storage so the house would not be so messy.When my personal mover arrived, I could not do it because I ILLEGALLY lost my fully paid storage. without cause. I want FULL REFUND. CUBESMART violated contract!

Being able to reserve, sign the contract and make payments all on line made renting a storage unit super easy. The facility is nice, well lit and in a great location for our needs

The store Manager-Virginia was extremely easy to work with. She not only held my unit for me but at the last minute change it to a larger unit!
