Long-term happy customer of this CubeSmart (previously Storage West) location for over 20 years.  I love the storage location and staff, but the continuous rate increases became intolerable.  It was especially insulting because I went online to see that the current rental rate for a same size and location 10 x 10 unit was being offered for $84/mo, compared to the $281 rent I had been paying. That made me feel like a stupid customer, rather than a valued long-term customer.  So I made an extra effort to get rid of a lot of little-used items, and moved the rest into the other unit I have.  That unit has also continued to have rate increases.  So I would suggest that the company take a look at treating long term loyal customers with fewer rate increases.  Also, despite my multiple reports to the staff, there was no air blowing from the air cooling system in the area of my two units for over 3 weeks.  So I, a 75 year old, 96# woman, was moving heavy things around for many MANY hours of those 3 weeks in a stagnant ambient temperature of at least 95 degrees, based on the fact that the outside temp was 106 - 110 (Las Vegas).  I requested a rent reduction for the unit I still have, but was told corporate said no, and that the AC problem had been reported, but it was taking a long time to fix.  As of July 13, it is still not working correctly: air is now blowing, but there is still no cooling.  In case anyone there at corporate cares, my email is sima888@gmail.com
