We really enjoyed renting from Spaces when we moved to town, but when it was bought by CubeSmart, it felt like a little bit of a rough start. We weren't notified of the acquisition and subsequent changes to the facility. We didn't love that the security code feature was deactivated on the elevator and that the gate didn't work properly for a while. Our rent was promptly raised, which made our rental feel like less of a good value (especially with decreased security and losing features like access to the dumpster). We found a new unit at a much better price with better features/amenities, and that was the deciding reason for our departure.

I find your recent price increase of over 20% ridiculous and not in consistent with the market. I left cubesmart and moved into a nearby facility with the exact same amenities/benefits that was charging 30% less than.
