We really enjoyed renting from Spaces when we moved to town, but when it was bought by CubeSmart, it felt like a little bit of a rough start. We weren't notified of the acquisition and subsequent changes to the facility. We didn't love that the security code feature was deactivated on the elevator and that the gate didn't work properly for a while. Our rent was promptly raised, which made our rental feel like less of a good value (especially with decreased security and losing features like access to the dumpster). We found a new unit at a much better price with better features/amenities, and that was the deciding reason for our departure.

I find your recent price increase of over 20% ridiculous and not in consistent with the market. I left cubesmart and moved into a nearby facility with the exact same amenities/benefits that was charging 30% less than.

Initially, I submitted all the required information. The website stated I would have instant access that was not the outcome. I did not have access for 3/4 days when I did finally gain access the elevator did not properly work. I asked the onsite mgr if I would be prorated I never received a response. Also, after moving out during the middle of the month I asked the same question and was denied. I would not refer anyone based on these instances.

Convenient, clean, secure, reliable. I rent 3 other storage units (Colo, Cali, Wash) I use them to store cars boats and business inventory samples. This particular unit in Arkansas was no different just smaller 7’ x 10’ I considered keeping it but the kept jacking up my rent. Cost doubled over five year period $65 to $130. My unit in Colorado has never gone up in 8 1/2 years I pay $75 for a 10 x 10. My Washington unit I’ve used for 17+ years and they’ve raised their prices twice started at $80 and I now pay a whopping $100 for a 10 x 30. Just saying everyone person has a breaking point. If you truly don’t need it why keep it.

Great clean facility with helpful staff.

All good except the price increase was above market but adjusted when I objected.The local staff was helpful, professional and responsive.
