Lou was extremely helpful in helping me. As a senior I really appreciate the person to person contact, as the electronic version was not easy to see all the details, prices, etc.

Too frequent rent increases. Had 5 units rented. With the constant increases, became too costly. We are a 501c3.

Rents are raised too frequently and by to much. I have 5 units and am paying almost double what I originally contracted for 2 years ago.

I put all of my items into a 10 x 20 unit. Was about ½ full and my rate was $162. This rate was competitive but not the lowest in the area. I chose Cube Smart due to location. Then after just 4 months my rate went to $216 or a 33% increase. Management did not have an explanation beyond "this is industry standard". Is it really? I checked around and rate increase can happen in most place after you have been there for 12 months or longer. I moved everything to a smaller unit (half the size) close to my son who ended up having most of the remaining items. The monthly rate for it is $46 per month or 79% less. Beyond the price increase, the facility is well maintained. A very responsive and nice manager (Lou), and the security seems to be monitored as well as expected for the area. It was nice that the driveways were resealed to cover the cracks and bumps while I was there.
