I put all of my items into a 10 x 20 unit. Was about ½ full and my rate was $162. This rate was competitive but not the lowest in the area. I chose Cube Smart due to location. Then after just 4 months my rate went to $216 or a 33% increase. Management did not have an explanation beyond "this is industry standard". Is it really? I checked around and rate increase can happen in most place after you have been there for 12 months or longer. I moved everything to a smaller unit (half the size) close to my son who ended up having most of the remaining items. The monthly rate for it is $46 per month or 79% less. Beyond the price increase, the facility is well maintained. A very responsive and nice manager (Lou), and the security seems to be monitored as well as expected for the area. It was nice that the driveways were resealed to cover the cracks and bumps while I was there.

Friendly service, ease of rental, clean facility.

Awful customer service. Gates broke many occasions, which didn’t allow access. Repaving the asphalt was redone twice in a year- closed the units for multiple days , and the asphalt was still awful. The cost went up 200% from when I sighed on 3 years ago….i could go on and on. Awful experience.

It was an easy process to reserve a storage unit online. It was also very easy to go in and make my first payment and activate my account with CubeSmart. I ended up going to my unit for the first time on Sunday when there was no one in the office yet they had supplied me with the gate access key my unit number and I even received a welcome bag with a padlock in it. I feel this is great customer service.

Too expensive - keeps going up every few months.

Lou has been a blessing to me since February of this year. I met Nadine Patik in my grief counseling group at St. Thomas More Church. We both lost a child. I tried to help her. Unfortunately she said she would repay the money I gave her and this did not happen. I did file a police report as advised by Lou. In the email the police report number is documented.
