I have it a 7 because I think cube smart is perfect for me but im nit sure if it'll be perfect for my friends * family.

Price inceasese far outstrip value of the units.

The storage is nice and building is clean and well maintained. But price of my storage contract went up to $461. It is over my budget.

I recently rented in May and decided to move out end of May because of an incident that happened on Memorial Day. When I went to take some of my items out, the facility was out of power and had no access. Manager was not willing to help, not just me but everyone who was there for their belongings. Some people need access to their stuff in an emergency situation, the manager did not communicate anything with the customers and even showed rude attitude toward some customers who was really in rush to get her stuff for her same day international flight. I kept my stuff in the storage that was work related. CubeSmart did not inform the customer of the power outage neither via email or phone calls to give customers a heads up right when it happened. If the access is not guaranteed due to unexpected emergency, the company should have a back up plan and also a plan for compensation for customers. I will never in my life use CubeSmart again and am very disappointed at how the company handled this kind of situation. You might think you are only losing a few customers but for you should treat every customers with fairness and with great customer service

Customer service and locations Cubesmart provides. Although the rates percentage increased at random are not helpful which might potentially be an issue down the line.

The center was closed on two occasions when it was supposed to be open. No response from the center was executive or the helpline or anyone for that matter inspite of escalation

The person at the front desk was very helpful in assisting us. We also got a great deal on our unit. The whole process was seamless.

Words cannot describe how bad my experience was with Cube Smart. I checked in online and started moving in the contents of a 2BR apartment with my movers. There was a padlock on the latch of the unit with no provided key, but, we started unloading as there was noone at the office for the 2 hours when we were unloading. I called customer service twice to ask them to send someone. Finally someone showed up. They removed the padlock but then we discovered the latch was broken such that you could not secure the unit. The employee very rudely said "well you're going to have to move units". To which I replied - I physically cannot. Then they both started getting very rude with me and storming away as if I had said something absurd.But I agree to get a new unit and hire movers to come. They did not make it clear that the facility closed at 7 - they were making threatening comments like "let's see if your codes work" and would literally not answer my questions. I was told to "stop bothering them". The movers arrived at 6:30 and we had to speed move the contents of a 10 x 14.
