Communication is terrible. We tried to close our unit on a Friday, but when I went into the office they said their internet was down. They were supposed to get the district manager to take our card off file and then cancel us once the internet was back up. But they did neither of those things and we got charged for the next month even tho we'd completely moved out. I called the office a bunch of times and left multiple messages over a week (during hours when the office should have been open) and could never get in touch with anyone. Finally, I called the "rent a storage unit" extension and got a human at the district-level who couldn't do anything to actually cancel me, and who couldn't get a hold of the facility either. They said they would contact me or the store would contact me when it was all finalized and a refund was processed. Still not contact from anyone until this survey email came out. No email confirmation that my unit was cancelled, no invoice of my refund. Fortunately, I checked my account and the refund has been processed, which is good. However, the lack of communication and it being 100% my responsibility to get in touch and follow up is just unacceptable. I am glad we are free now.

The prices are good. The area is a little sketchy, however. Also, I'm not a big fan of the fact that all of the units are connected by a small gap of space along the ceiling.

The manager at the Longmont storage is very customer focused and has always been friendly and helpful. He made me feel like more of a friend than a customer and listening to some of his conversations on the phone when I would go in to pay let me know he is a true asset to your business. You are very lucky to have him 😊
