I've had good experiences with the storage facility itself but I'm going to have to move out because CubeSmart raises the rent aggressively on long-term tenants. My rent has more than doubled and there's no option to reset it. I feel that the company should state that it only wants short-term tenants. Not a surprise, I'm guessing.

Nothing wrong with the unit or facility. What bothered me was that I no longer needed a big unit, and tried to downsize to a smaller one at the price a new customer would be charged. CS was unable to accommodate. So instead of renting a new unit w/ you, I went to a competitor. Do you realize how much new customer acquisition costs are vs keeping existing customers? Someone should learn about that.

The increases on the rental happened too frequently. The combination keypad locks were removed from the buildings and the cost increased.

It was a decent deal for the introductory, reduced price, but it was raised to about 70% more, and that was WAY too expensive.
