Unable to talk to anybody other than local staff. It would be beneficial to be able to talk to the local staff, managers and supervisors, especially when you have a problem with the local staff. The unit that we just vacated, we had requested the door to be fixed. However, only Band-Aids were put on and to this day it’s extremely difficult to lift up. Rental prices in my opinion seem to be unfair as a long-term renter is very difficult to pay much higher prices than when you have a stranger come and rent the same size unit for hundreds less than what I can get it for the local staff just says I can’t do anything about it and that is why I would like to talk to somebody above them to discuss this. Everything seems to go on deaf ears. In addition, it seems that at any time the already unfairly priced units prices could be raised again. It’s difficult to have increases every few months, especially when you don’t know when it will begin until 30 days ahead of time. For me, it would be much easier to manage if I knew that the cost would be going up every three months, every six months or yearly or by yearly. when looking for other units with different companies I was amazed that every time I was in a different place there were people actively renting a new unit that were leaving CubeSmart for the same reasons that I just discussed. It was a little cumbersome signing up / speaking with someone to coordinate setup and move in. Computer system was down.
