Cube smart could absolutley care less about retaining customers at their storage facility. This is the second time that I rented a storage from them and in six months they raisied the rent. I paid everything on time and they raised the rent for no reason. I guess they would rather have an empty storage unit then one thatis paying rent on time. In this economy I would think they woudl wnat all the business they can get. I did drive around the facility and I saw with my own eye a bunch of empty units. How is this good business practice?

Clean , climate controlled and nice staff

We were customers for 14 years. Our rates continued to go up and at the end we were paying $296 per month for a 10x10 non-climate-controlled outside unit. That is outrageous, especially given that new customers had a much lower rate. When we reminded the office staff that we had been loyal long-term customers and asked if we could get that rate that you were giving others we were told no.

Price increase on unit & paid insurance for almost 2 years but when i got my Devonshire or of the until, I was informed by a professional coaching service it was mold & could not be cleaned. When I inquired about submitting a claim I was told it would most likely be denied because it was the only thing damaged (it was the only thing fabric) & unkown condition upon move in, why would I store unusable furniture?

Nice facility and helpful staff. Unfortunately it is expensive compared to other options.
