My experience with CubeSmart started off great but unfortunately ended on a disappointing note. When I first rented my 8x10 unit, the rate was very reasonable—one month free and $150 per month. I paid for a full year in advance to lock in that rate. However, one month before the year ended, my rent increased to $240, which was a $90 jump. About eight months later, it increased again to $280. At that rate, I would have been paying over $400 by year four, which became unaffordable.In addition to the price hikes, I had serious cleanliness issues. Around month five, I discovered that mice had invaded my unit. I had approximately 32 bins of clothing, seasonal decorations, toys, and donation items—all clean and neatly organized. Unfortunately, everything was covered in droppings and urine stains. Some items had to be thrown away, and the rest required extensive cleaning and sanitizing, which I had to do myself with gloves, disinfectants, and masks.I reported the issue to staff, but no compensation, cleaning supplies, or assistance were offered. They did offer to move me to another unit, but after speaking with other renters who had similar issues, I decided it wasn’t worth the hassle.To be fair, the staff themselves were always kind, respectful, and professional. Their friendliness is honestly what made me stay longer than I should have. The exterior of the facility also appeared clean and well-kept; however, the pest issue inside the units was a serious problem.Overall, I would not recommend this location for storing furniture or valuable items, as they may become contaminated or damaged. If you do choose to store here, I strongly suggest keeping everything sealed in bins and spraying peppermint oil regularly to deter pests—but even then, it may not be enough.This experience was both costly and stressful, but I hope my review helps others make an informed decision.

Manager was amazing

We like the straight forward, easy to understand design of the building-ample parking/loading space. Big doors directly from the parking area to the elevators. To topit off, Ronald, the manager is terrific. He looks out for everyone.
