From the beginning there was a problem. When I inquired about the price, I was told that was the price and there no hidden fees. Once my son arrived to store my items, the price was much different than what I was told. I didn't have a choice but to take the storage since I had moved out of the area and I had to store some things still in the area for my other son.When I wanted to close the storage unit, I called and inquired what is needed because I had a friend coming to collect my items. They sent me the paperwork to cut the lock and I was told that was all I needed. Once my friend got there it was again different. There were other forms that was needed and they made it seem like they weren't going to allow my friend to collect my items. I thought I had read somewhere that once my items are cleared out, that automatically cancelled my contract. Nope! I was billed for another month. I did get that taken care of. It's like pulling teeth over there. It's horrible customer service.

I closed 1 unit and I was informed that I will receive an email stating of that. It took 1 week of phone calls for them to do so. Very disappointed

The first day I walked in April was so sweet and nice I thought this was a good idea!! And then it was all down hill from there I went into the office to discuss switching my insurance policy to my own and the gentleman in the office said I needed a different document to not pay my bill that was about to be late I wouldn’t have to pay the late fee and they would get it all fixed. Then instead of being nice about it they all freaked out and yelled at me for the documents I had brining wrong still even tho it’s exactly what they asked for. I took it up with the district manager and he continued to tell me I was wrong and when I said ok I’ll figure out insurance later can we please get rid of the late fees like promised they no and that this issues was my fault and I still had to pay but at the same time by the time Jason the district manager got back to me on all of this they had already put my unit up for auction. I had to pay $200 for my $9 unit. This was very disappointing and I did not feel like any one was ever helpful or cared. This was not handled professionally at all. Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. April would call me about this and would hang up before I could respond and had a super dramatic attitude. I would never ever deal with cubesmart again nor suggest it to anyone I know.

This was supposed to be self-service but we were unable to access the unit without going inside. We had to wait a long time to be helped. The setup is confusing and difficult to access/unload things. I regret changing to CubeSmart.
