I upgraded my storage at CubeSmart from an outside 5 X 5 to a climate controlled 10 X 10 due to the need to store some additional furniture. To best utilize the space, I purchased two 48" wide storage shelves so that they would fit against the side wall. The disappointment was finding out my unit is only 10 x 7.5, as the two 4 foot shelves would not fit side by side. I called the location manager line and the representative wasn't sure how to respond but said the manager would call back. I called again the next afternoon and was told the measurements are only approximations. I explained that I was concerned that I would not be able to fit what I needed to store in a 75 square foot space and I needed the 100 square feet. I understood the approximation but my unit is approximately 10 wide by 8 feet deep. It is deception to rent 75 square feet for the price of 100 square feet. The manager didn't have a solution other than to rent me a 10 x 15 space for $70 more per month (and the unit was in a different building).

EVERYTHING was covered in white insulation. The facility is nice and easy to access just disappointing that haven’t fixed the issue with the ceiling covering everything I own.

PRO: Value proposition and ease of use are excellent.CON: The required $16 charge is refundable (my preference - CubeSmart account credit) once proof of replacement insurance is received by CubeSmart by onsite representative. The onsite agent stated clearly that the $16 was not refundable. The online sign up stated clearly $16 insurance was required. Contract clearly stated that $16 insurance was optional. ...The website, contract, and local agent might improve and better integrate their partial presentations.

We have and continue to have had great customer service and great access. Never any issues. We shut down one of our storage units but still have another unit.
