Clean and safe.

I paid you monthly in good faith for 12 years, plus I paid for a protection plan. When I went to get my things I found my furniture, which had been practically brand new, my kitchen things, baby photos, throw pillows, blankets, mattresses had all been chewed on or through and there was either rat or mouse (or both) excrement all over everything. Aside from the outrageous amount of money I've paid to CubeSmart over the years there was emotional upset at finding my belongings destroyed. I also rent a 2nd storage unit with CubeSmart, different facility, that has my deceased mother's belongings in it and I plan to find a different company to go with. I am afraid the same will happen to her things, may have already, I've not gotten there to check yet.

My items were completely destroyed by rats.

Many times, the device one entered the code into didn't work, so I had to make return trips. This site has no manager, so you're never sure you'll be able to access your unit. I had plastic items in my #18 unit that were warped, indicating the promised temperature was not maintained during the summer. It would be nice to have a motion sensor light in each unit as my unit was not well lit. Oh, and I disliked that they new "pricing" was $6:00 higher, yet the advertised price was half that..........

We have had a CubeSmart storage space for over 3 years. During that time every single person we have worked with from customer service to onsite staff has been absolutely amazing. The location is well maintained and the units are easy to access 24 hours a day. If we ever need a storage space in the future we will do so at CubeSmart.

Rat infested property. Destroyed personal property with no willingness to help from management over the years. My husband recently passed away and the rats destroyed so many memorabilia items and family heirlooms. I was promised several times from different management that they would credit me 3 months and never followed through with promises.

The worst storage unit I have ever used in my life.It is very unsafe.You'll be in your storage unit.It'll go pitch black.You have to walk down a pitch black hall, just to get the lights, go back on, then you're back in your storage unit.Then, stuff falls on you because it gets pitch black again.Then, to top it off for the last month.I was there, we weren't even able to access our units because the management wouldn't even fix the gate codes or the lockboxes didn't work?We were not able to access our stuff when we wanted to the worst storage unit ever.I use a lot of storage units for work.And I would never recommend this one

Your pricing structure is unbelievable and should be illegal!

My furniture items were damaged with mice feces. There was also a tear on my couch. It was very disappointing to see my items were not in a safe unit nor did I get any notification about the condition of the storage. Lastly, the monthly charge continued to increase.
