You kept going up on my storage without notice

CubeSmart was a clean and nice facility and it offered save and secure units. Staff were friendly when i interacted with them.

Everything was great, but it seemed a little pricey, then you add on the $5 monthly “convenience fee” and was just too costly.

The price raised significantly in the time we were there. We were in a 5x5x8 which started out at roughly 33 dollars a month including the 12 protection plan. Small raises through the first couple years which we understood. In 2023 we noticed the price got larger and the we got notice of our unit being closed even though we didn’t initiate it. They rectified that and then my price went up again. We just paid last month $93.10 cents. 12 for the protection plan and $79 plus tax for the unit. That price for the largest of the “small” united is cheaper than what I was paying. Also on my bill it stays 40 percent off under discounts so does that mean the 79 was AFTER a 40 percent discount? So I would have been paying OVER $131 for the smallest unit currently? That’s just ridiculous. So sadly the price is what’s making us leave.
