I've never rented a storage unit, so I don't have a comparison, but everything has seemed straight-forward and I feel I'm receiving decent value for my money. Access to my unit has been very simple.

Service was great and it was always clean and secure. The multiple price increases were why I gave it a 7 and not a 10.

For the entire time I was renting a storage unit either one of both bay doors were out of order. At times, one of the doors was left open so that people could access their units. This is a "climate controlled" space in Arizona. It's impossible to keep the temps down when such a large door is wide open. They day I moved all of my stuff out, both doors were again out of order and there were repairmen there working on them. It looked like they were replacing both doors. I don't understand why it took so long.

The building was clean and cool. I always felt safe no matter when I had to visit.
