I walked out of one storage place and went straight to CubeSmart and boy I was glad I did. CubeSmart was so kind to me and our transaction was completed very quickly. The beautiful lady who works during the week was very empathetic to my situation. God led me to her, I truly believe that. God bless her!

Great customer service

The mandatory insurance is too expensive for the size of the units. Customers should be able to decide if their contents need or if they want to insure same. Appears to be another way to make money.

Price too high

You advertise very clean, bug-free, very safe units. While the units are safe from crime, so-to-speak (we only stayed for two of the four weeks we paid for from the start b/c of the filth, so I can't speak to the crime aspect from a time standpoint), they are overrun by bugs, especially spiders, within the first few days after you "sweep" them out. How dare you advertise them as being either "clean" or "safe"?! We took fleas back to our brand new apartment that I'd both vacuumed and shampooed ahead of moving stuff into the apartment and the only rooms that showed up with fleas were the rooms that we brought stuff back to from the storage unit. Also, I got bit by something that crawled up my pants leg while I was driving back from loading stuff up from the storage unit and I spent three days in my bed sick from whatever type of spider I smashed into my leg from inside my pants. I called and spoke to someone who was "just filling in" and asked to have the rope replaced on the handle of the door (which broke within the first week of our lease b/c it was so old on that door) because I have a fake shoulder that isn't strong enough to pull the door up from the ground to the top if it's not going to stay up there by itself, and she immediately got an attitude, thinking that was apparently the most ridiculous request ever. Except for my next one, which was to have the outer perimeters sprayed for especially spiders after watching an even bigger spider than the one that bit me run into the neighboring garage uninhibited since the doors can't be locked if you close them all the way. How can you even claim them to be "clean from bugs and debris" when you can't even lock them with the locks you push on us for the extravagant $16 charge when you can't lock the door if you close it all the way? This place is a contradiction in terms from start to finish...including the forced insurance they automatically charge you for and then argue about if you try to use it after your stuff comes back bug infested and you refuse to take anymore of it back to your home after you fumigate it. You all at 7200 Tussing Road in Reynoldsburg, OH 43068 should be put out of business for all your lies efforts to keep people from going to reputable places that would have actually kept their belongings safe. Now we have no Xmas tree to put my daughter's presents under this year thanks to these jerks who threatened to charge extra if I didn't come back and get the remainder of the Xmas stuff out of there after I realized the storage unit was responsible for fleas. I hope this keeps someone from the hidden fees and the hidden fleas.

I like how secure the self storage unit is and having cameras makes me feel safe. The customer service representatives were all kind and helpful. Even during the process of me closing the unit.
