Online system works well, could have a better understand of what prices are. The office and storage area at the Ridgecrest location is clean and well looked after. The units have good lighting, easy to get to the units, door system is simple to use, and we were able to get a lot of stuff in our cube. Jimmy was easy to work with, keeps the place looking good, and helped us better understand the pricing.

My storage unit was broken into and no attempts were made to fix the problem from reoccurring.

Unit itself was fine. For being climate controlled it was always too cold or too warm in there. The facility had a few break ins that were not noticed until we called. The price was consistently increasing, making it unaffordable unless you were a new customer and only kept the unit for 3 months.

Other than the very long period of time that the doors on the north side of the building were not working and not being repaired, the facility is very nice. My issue is with rent increases. At the point I had been renting my unit for 2 1/2 years, the rent increased for, I think, the third time and was more than twice the price it was wted it.During the same period, I still had storage in Colorado. The facility there was new and well kept, but not an interior style like this one. Over the same period, the CubeSmart unit went up $197/ month and the Colorado unit went up $3.It seems like the storage business is more often focused on long term rentals. That doesn't mean you can just lose money, but there is a limit to what people are willing to put up with in increases. I moved out over cost.

Good, climate-controlled storage, but cost becoming prohibitive for no added benefit.
