Clean well run facility

Mary at the Riverwoods location was very accommodating. I made a mistake in how I rented the storage online, so she was able to show me an alternative option and change my lease to the new storage. Everything was smooth and easy.

I was immediately greeted and asked what I was looking for. The process of signing up was smooth and effortless. The Employee on duty was friendly and informative and showed me the room I would be using.

Working with Mary and Bambi was a pleasure. They were knowledgeable and very friendly. One important item to bring up that was outside of Mary and Bambi's control. There were signs everywhere in the facility that re-paving the grounds was going to be occurring on 5/28 and there would be absolutely NO ACCESS on 5/28. Furthermore, the notification taped everywhere said normal access would resume 5/29. So I purposely planned my move out of my unit on 5/29. I arranged for the movers to meet me at CubeSmart the morning of 5/29. Imagine my surprise and frankly horror when I arrived at CubeSmart at 8:30am and the grounds were cordoned off for the paving to begin. On 5/29!!! I spoke to the paving supervisor who said he was going to call his manager, but I didn't wait for that. I removed the rope, let my movers in, told the pavers to work on a different part of the lot and I was done in 45 minutes. But that could have been a disaster. Very disappointing way to end what was prior thereto an amicable relationship. That simply can't happen.

I found the cleanliness of the space and the local staff to be outstanding. I continued to feel trapped and taken advantage of with the pricing, excessive increases, and, most recently, an unwillingness to provide a long-time client any discount whatsoever.
