Safe and clean

The space was good, the app is excellent. The problem is that automatic price increases. VERY quickly, the space becomes unaffordable and there is no reason for the increases in such a short period of time. Nothing changed that should have driven my price up by more than 100 dollars in less than one year.

They raise the price every month

I am not pleased at all with your services, especially your outrageous charges I paid for 7 years and 2 months that I kept my belongings in yout storage unit.

Rats have access to the storage units. Boxes were chewed through and there was always rat poop around our stuff. Disgusting! We weren't even storing food or anything edible! When we first rented this storage unit, we started at $80/mo, which, for the size of our small unit, was reasonable. However, over the 4 years we had our unit, we experienced significant rent increases that were neither negotiable or avoidable. Most of the time, we weren't even informed prior to the increase by email or text; the increase simply happened and we were stuck with paying the bill. We finally decided to travel from out of state to close our unit because we were paying $200 a month!!! in storage rent for the same unit we always had. We never received anything cleaner or bigger than the unit we always had. Cancelling the unit and dealing with Jason at closeout was the best part of our 4year experience with CubeSmart. He was fair, kind and efficient. However, due to the egregious (and regular) rent increases, and rat contamination, we will not be recommending this storage facility to anybody.
