While always clean and friendly, the constant price increases are a huge turn off.

I was not able to pick the unit before renting. The unit I was given was in a second building with no real loading dock area. When I went to move my stuff into storage, the Cube Smart campus was not shoveled--despite having open access hours every day from 6 am to 10 pm. Because of this, I could not bring in my U-Haul truck to the second building to unload my things into storage. I had to wait the following day which was unfortunate as I had planned my whole week around my scheduled move in. In fact, I tried to change my unit to the main building to avoid the snow issue of the second building's parking lot and submitted a request with customer service who told me my local CubeSmart would call me back the following day during business hours. The Roseland, NJ CubeSmart never called me back. I had to call them. The second building while cheaper, did not have furniture dollies. I had to do without or scale the whole campus for one in the main building. Also, the maps on the floors do not have the unit numbers nor tell you where you are on the map! What is the point of a map with no numerical markings of the unit, it took a lengthy amount of time just to locate my unit. I understand the second building is cheaper for a reason, being in the back of the campus, have units not on the first floor, etc. But there should still be standard *amenities* that comes with any typical storage unit. This includes a proper loading dock (NOT sliding doors that close every 90 seconds) and furniture dollies in that building. Will not be reccommending this storage facility to anyone anytime soon.

I had a very good checking in experience...Nicole was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions...she was very professional and very kind. She also assured me that she would be looking at me whilst I go in..min case I had any issues...that sealed the deal...awesome experience

My storage building was new and very well kept but I thought the monthly rates are too high.
