High price

Had a great experience with all the managers that I worked with.

I ordered a 5 x 12 rental space and when I got there on Sunday, the back corner is the angle part of the building. So the space isn't a true 5 x 12 one side is 13 feet I'm assuming to make up for it, but the short side is only like 9 feet so there's no good square corners to stack boxes or stuff, etc.. I really wish I would've known that ahead of time.

Ever since Cubesmart bought out the storage facility, the customer service has gone downhill. Very unfriendly service. The gates are constantly broken. There is never anyone in the office. There are never any dollies anywhere. I was told that people steal them. Don't you KNOW who is in the facility at all times?BUT THE WORSE IS YOUR PRICES INCREASE CONSTANTLY. I found a better facility only .3 miles further from my house for 2/3 less than Cubesmart. They have a full staff. ALWAYS have dollies available and each unit has an overhead light.

Easy to use.

Hours were good for accessing storage. However, there was never a cart available and, whenever I asked, and it was a big project to find one. I started bringing my own cart with me so that I could move items in and out of storage and not waste time hunting around for a cart. I feel that there should be one cart per building always available. The Office personnel should move the carts once a day, if necessary, so there is again one cart available per building.

Rent increase and inability to enter on occasion. Very annoying.

I MOVED TO A LARGER STORAGE UNIT.

Clean. Nice. Helpful staff. A little pricey in my opinion and older units for sure. Also, My husband is in the military on deployment and since he didn’t sign the lease for the storage unit (because he’s gone & unable to sign….), they wouldn’t give me a 5% off each month for military discount like their website says. Overall, I would still recommend.

I was satisfied with the unit, but over the course of a few years my rent has increased so many times that I was paying 250% of my original rent. Even in a world where prices regularly increase due to inflation, this was pretty egregious price gouging. Raising rates every few months is insanity
