Great storage

BEWARE!THIS BUSINESS WILL TREAT YOU BADLY.I signed a contract with them on June 2, 2025 to rent a 5'x10'x8' storage space for a rate of $77 per month. When my daughter arrived to store her goods on the evening June 11, the locker that had been contracted to us had been rented to someone else and had a padlock on it. The site office was closed and my daughter was leaving town for over three months the next morning. Over the phone, someone resolved this by moving her into a different locker, which was much bigger than we contracted for or needed. The person on the phone assured her that she would be charged the same rate as for the smaller locker that we had contracted for.The very next day, we received a new invoice with a rental rate of $132 per month (71% higher!) for the larger locker. We sent email messages and attempted phone calls, none of which were answered. They did put the rate down to 77$ for one month, but then jacked it back up to the same $132 the very next month. We sent more email messages and phone calls complaning, but all were unanswered, while they continued to automatically charge our credit card the higher rate for August and September.We finally returned to the area in September and moved out of the locker. We brought up the issue with the local attendant at the storage location, who was empowered to do nothing more than give us the phone number for "Frankie" or "Francine", her district manager. No one ever answered the phone (at least 6 times over 1-1/2 weeks), and no one ever called me back, despite the fact that the answering machine promised call backs. I finally called a different corporate number, and a few days later got a call back from "Frankie/Francine." She tried to feed me a story that the 71% increase was because of an increase in rent on the smaller unit that I contracted for and not the rate on the larger unit that we were forced into. She also claimed that 71% rent increases a month after contracting are normal and "industry stadard." I think this is a bald-faced lie by Francine! I just checked the rate being quoted o their website today. It is currently LESS than what I originally contracted for for the smaller unit and less than half of what they were charging us for the last two months of our rental. The explanation is also unbelievable in light of the fact that the rental rate increase went right back up to exactly the same price mistakenly billed for the larger unit!The district manager is a liar.DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. YOU WILL BE SORRY!

Store mgr was awesome

Yall were pretty responsive and all that. I wish there wasn't confusion about which was a climate controlled space and which was not and I wish it had been easier to tell you I moved out of my space.
