The online SmartRental process is quite nifty. We had an emergency need for a rental unit on Thanksgiving Day and were able to select, pay for, and gain access to the property and unit (in Scottsdale) without the need for the office to be open or to wait for the next day. It was a life-saver that eliminated a major scheduling issue. The only reason the rating is not a 10 is because I have both renters insurance and multiple circle locks and renting with SmartRental, we weren't able to avoid paying for those two unnecessary expenses. But the free first month did provide some compensation. The follow-up call from Savanah the next day was a credit to CubeSmart's commitment to quality customer service.

I was told the rate I started with would not change for the duration I had the unit. When I received the notice that my rate was going up $30, I immediately knew I was cancelling my contract. It doesn't pay to be greedy.

Great staff and nice facilities. Could have been higher but several times when attempting to see an attendant they were out of the office. There was a card in window with return time, but they were 30 minutes late. I guess there are times they need to close for a short time.

Very quick rise in rent after I moved in. I rented less than one year. Negates the lower price advertised in sign-up almost immediately. A pretty common complaint I read on your reviews online. Wonder how much I would be paying if I stayed longer.

only one issue but it is big. one day last week I go to visit my boat and I see that new storage locations were added right infront of my location. It was already very hard to park and retrieve my boat as it was, now all but impossible. So I worked with a very nice young man in the front desk and we found a new location. Slightly smaller and it was even cheaper. I came in the next week and moved my boat and in doing paperwork with the same nice young man I was told the price is now more than I was paying for the larger spot!!! I would like you to review this and let me know what you can do
