I have stored with cubesmart before . I enjoy the affordable rates at the beginning but the rates quickly raise and that’s the reason I gave an 7. I had mice destroy some items I had in another storage so i had to repack items and throw things away due to the poop and urine from the live.

Amanda is extremely helpful and personable. The facility is clean and easy to access. For our team the location is extremely convenient. The only thing I’d love to see improved is rates staying the same for longer periods of time. They go up frequently.

The facility is very nice. The rent for our unit tripled in less than 4 years, to an amount similar to a small apartment. For this reason we moved to a nearby storage facility and reduced our rent to about 1/5 the rent CubeSmart was charging us.

Your Ballard facility on Leary is a nicely maintained place with a helpful and pleasant staffer. I have used it 3 times now. However, though I know it is part of your business plan to get people in then consistently raise the rates, raising them over 40% withing two years is just plain greedy!

Could not stomach the 175% rent increase from $140 to $380

The longer you stay the more you pay is what your local agent told me. I found that if I were to walk in off the street to rent the same unit it would be $54 per month less than what you were charging me.

Pros: Convenient, close by, decent open hours, friendly customer service, air control. Cons: We did not like the surprise price hike after the first few months. Too much trouble to move/vacate the huge unit we filled to the brim, so forced to pay much more than we had budgeted.
