Locations are very important to me as are prices. Both were satisfied by CubeSmart. Payment options were also very convenient. Security of the area was also very good considering the area of the city.y

It feels like a bait and switch. You start off with a low rate, and then it keeps increasing. You're better off buying one for the back yard.

Started renting at $260. Four years later rent is $400. When I was cleaning out my unit, noticed rat droppings. After going through our stuff, rats ate through 4 bins of clothes. Other than that was nice to have a drive up unit.

Used for a long time, never had any problems

All my things got wet inside the unit. The roof wasn't leaking but water was coming in through the door

The site is run down & dirty. NO proper upkeep of the property. Uneven pavement, unprofessional maintenance caused flooding in units. While moving out, we saw another unit in another building - moving out due to a broken water pipe near their unit.Storage unit is not ventilated nor lit.NO available trash receptacles -waste receptacles always locked. Bathrooms always locked.Shabby walls, dry wall crumbling. Unswept hallways.Limited access to staff members. Office should be open on Sundays.Old wood panels holding units together. Previous Manager, cut the lock off our unit and a Cubesmart employee took items from our unit.Cost is outrageous.We moved out because the Unit was not suitable for storage: water damaged, moldy, dusty, unkept, walls are falling apart. The units look like old & aged sheds. Anyone could break in to them by punching a wall. I will not recommend any family or friends to Cubesmart.Unprofessional staff.

Very clean and easy access and very nice staff

Great experience! Best price we could find, and super close by! Staff was great! Move-out process was simple. Definitely the best CubeSmart location in San Diego!
