1. Online signup asks for move-in date without specifying that payment date is considered move- in date = not a full free month.2. Rate went up twice in the not-quite-17 months I was there, both times SIGNIFICANTLY.3. Gate was left open often this year; not sure if it was broken but it was months before I saw it closed again. No protection there.4. When I tried moving to a smaller unit, I was billed for quite a bit more than the online price and price quoted by the Sturbridge manager (I was later told it “was an error”).5. Enforced key purchase, administration fee and insurance (the facility to which I moved has none of these).6. The last few days of a rental do not belong to the tenant, as I was told I needed to be out at least 2-3 days prior to end date, to accommodate “inspection” convenience.7. Given all the above, I do not consider CubeSmart to be a company with integrity.That said, please note that the manager at Sturbridge was quite helpful and very nice (although he did not return a promised call), as was Donna at a main office in the general area. There is no option to leave this notation elsewhere.

Your gate is always broken. Does not give a good feeling of security. You don’t communicate very well with customer. Cut locks off without speaking with the customer. Then you throw the cut locks off inside the unit. Have a second auction in the same month due to having a new GM and he just makes the decision to have one. Just poor customer service. Owner of the Sturbridge units just does not care about customers. Just about getting her money.Monthly charges just keeps going up. Found a company for a-lot less than yours. Would not recommend Sturbridge Cubesmart to anyone.
