The staff was rude especially Kim. The unit was so hot I couldn't be in for more than 10 minutes. Feels like a sauna.

I am good with the price but I don’t like the idea of insurance being a requirement to rent. My home owners covers my rental unit

The regular rate increases every 6 months is off-putting for a facility that does not have any obvious significant changes or improvements that justify them. Costs appear fixed so regular rate increases just appear as bait and switch money making.

Well maintained, clean

Let me start off by saying this score had nothing to do with the staff. They were helpful and professional. The facility is very clean. We rented two large units for about 7 months. After the first month, Cube Smart increased our rates three times. It is excessive to pay over $300 a month for storage. I would not have continued to receive these price increases if I had other options. Of course the contract does state "subject to price increases" - so basically, we are at the mercy of these price hikes. Great for very short term storage but not long-term. Price will go up and up.
