The yearly 15% rate hike was ridiculous. The facility is nice but your rate structure is criminal.

I had a very frustrating experience with CubeSmart and would not recommend them.My monthly rate was increased without any clear notice, and when I asked about it, I was simply told that the company can raise rates at any time. That lack of transparency was already concerning.Things got worse when I scheduled my move-out. Prior to moving, a CubeSmart employee informed me that U-Haul U-Boxes would be allowed on the property as long as they were not left overnight. However, on the actual day of my move, when U-Haul arrived, I was told something completely different—that U-Boxes are not allowed on the property at all. This last-minute change caused a major inconvenience, especially since my belongings were being shipped out of town.To make matters worse, I was hung up on by an employee when trying to resolve the issue, and a manager did not return my call until two days later.Overall, the poor communication, inconsistent policies, and lack of customer service made this a very stressful experience. I would not recommend CubeSmart to anyone.

Want cube closer to door? Extra moneyNeed a special lock? Extra moneyNeed to show homeowners/renter insurance. If you can’t then extra money. Then when you go back a couple days later to show proof of insurance you can’t get a refund because “we already charged you”. Too much extra that you are not told about until you are at the counter.

The employee I worked with was fantastic. She was very personable but professional! That is why I gave it a 10.

Clean facility and easy access. Climate controlled storage

The unit we were assigned was full of grease on the cement floor. Obviously a prior renter used it to store a motorcycle or a very small car. Needless to say the entire middle of the unit was not usable as we had items that would go into our home. We are sure there were other rentable units, but we got stuck with it while only being there a very short time.We had considered using this facility and possibly a smaller unitt for our Christmas items, but not with prior renters

Unit and facility always clean. I feel safe when I am on the grounds alone. Access to a mostly clean bathroom. Loved the former manager Rob, new manager says no first before providing a solution.
