My initial opinion based on the front office reception, pricing and ease of reservation was very postive

location was convenient, but I used the back parking lot for RV storage and the fence around it is very insecure and the condition of the pavement needs improvement...and the price goes up every year - 15% this year, which is nuts for just a parking spot with limited security and no cover

I would give the store manager a 9, but Cube Smart wasted my time 4 times in a couple months by creating access problems that should have been easily solved. Instead of offering a monetary price accommodation they chose to raise the rent by 30%. After using them over 4 years for RV storage I finally became too dissatisfied to remain,

Because when I started it was 120 per month and the last month was over 300, no benefits just increase in cost.

It was very easy to sign up online, and there were many choices for units. Upon arriving at the unit, the customer service representative was very helpful in getting us set up and letting us know how to contact them in case we had any questions.

Process extremely smooth. Advertisement for discounted rate was accurate with no hidden fees or stipulations. Arrived and Monique was fun, cheerful, straightforward, you got my paperwork, squared away in a few minutes. This was straight business, and it was exactly what I needed.

The facility was very nice and the manager was great during move in and move out. My issue is with corporate policy on pricing. The monthly rate for my unit increased by $35 only 3-4 months after I moved in. I was told that the street rate had increased and I was still getting a discount from it, based on the promotion in place when I moved in. If that’s true, then my base rate is much higher than advertised on the website (pre-discount price). It sounds like you have different base rates for different customers, which are not available for review. And that you can and do raise rates as often as you like.I was able to get a comparable unit at a new facility, with excellent security, for $60 less per month and a 18 month price lock.Had you not raised my rate so quickly and not told me it could be raised again anytime, you would have had a solid dependable customer for at least 2 years. Now you have an empty unit that you will be renting at 40% off a lower rate with a free month… and probably doing that over and over again, when customers leave because of unexpected increases so soon after moving in. Doesn’t sound like a good business practice.
